Expert telehealth care for perimenopause, menopause & sexual medicine

Have you ever been told to come back in a few years? Has a provider dismissed or gaslit you, told you perimenopause isn't real, or handed you an antidepressant or birth control pill when what you really needed was answers? Have you walked out of an appointment with "your labs are normal" while still feeling like a stranger in your own body?

You are not alone, and it is not in your head.

The reality is that most providers receive little to no formal training in menopause medicine. Symptoms get misattributed, treated in isolation, or ignored altogether. Women are sent to psychiatrists for mood changes and sleep specialists for insomnia, when the root cause could be hormonal and the solution far simpler.

That's where I come in. I'm an up-to-date specialist who reads the research, attends the conferences, and believes that you are the expert in your own body. My role is to listen to your full experience and use my education and expertise to partner with you on the journey. I can't wait to meet you.

Understanding the Transition

Perimenopause and menopause are not just biological shifts; they are a new phase of life that deserves time, nuance, and individualized care.

Perimenopause

This can be a rollercoaster, and symptoms often start in your 30s. Knowledge is power. I provide the guidance you need to understand the changes to come so you can navigate this journey your way.

Menopause

Menopause is inevitable, but suffering is not. You will live 40% of your life in this hormonal state. Let’s navigate it together with care, science, and support so you can thrive.

Sexual Medicine

I take a whole-person approach to sexual health, honoring the natural ebbs and flows of desire through your lifetime. In this conversation, we center your education, your individual needs, and your pleasure.

About Me

I am a board-certified physician assistant licensed in Oregon, specializing in perimenopause, menopause, and sexual medicine. I hold certifications as a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) and am a Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health (ISSWSH/IF). I've supported thousands of women through this transition and bring nearly a decade of clinical experience to every visit.

My Approach I pride myself on taking the time to educate you, ensuring you fully understand your evaluation and treatment plan so we can be active partners in your care. I am deeply committed to inclusivity and am proud to be an LGBTQIA+, sex positive, judgment-free, and trauma-informed provider.

Beyond the Clinic I am a national speaker, surgical first assistant, and retreat leader. I am a member of the Novo Collective, empowering women through education, and have co-led projects including the Attune Retreat and the Mind, Body, Sexual Health & Cancer Retreat. In 2026, I will serve as a featured speaker at the Skin, Bones, Hearts & Private Parts conference series, educating fellow clinicians on women's healthcare.

A Pacific Northwest native, I love yoga, spending time with my family, and simply enjoying life.

Why me?

Dedicated. Efficient. Effective. Transparent. Personalized.

At GynJess, it's just me working directly with you, for you. No big clinic, no layers of staff. Just direct, personal care from someone who genuinely loves this work.

I'm also living it. As a woman in the thick of perimenopause myself, I'm on this rollercoaster right alongside you.

A note on transparency: there are no subscriptions, memberships, or supplement sales at GynJess. I'm not paid to promote anything. I prescribe FDA-approved medications and offer evidence-based options, full stop.

GynJess was built around three simple values: do the right thing, listen and believe your patients, and never recommend treatments they don't benefit from.

Our time together isn't rushed. You talk, I listen, and you'll leave feeling fully heard. After your visit, you'll have direct messaging access to me for anything that comes up along the way.

This phase of life deserves real time and attention. What you are experiencing is real, and you don't have to wait for it to get worse. The time is now.

What to expect during our 50 minutes

Because we operate outside the constraints of insurance, our time together will not be rushed. We aren't just checking boxes; we are engaging in a dynamic conversation about your experience, your hormonal journey. You are a whole person and that is an important consideration in this conversation. Here is a general blueprint on how we will spend our time.

The Deep Dive (10 mins): We will review your full medical history, including previous symptom management.

Symptom Mapping (10 mins): We will go beyond "hot flashes" to discuss sleep, mood, cognitive function (brain fog), bone health, musculoskeletal symptoms and sexual health.

Education & Options (20mins): I will explain the physiology and provide evidence-based options including hormone therapy, non-hormonal treatments, and lifestyle interventions.

The Blueprint (10 mins): We will co-create your personalized treatment plan, any recommendations for further evaluation and schedule follow-up.

FAQs

  • GynJess is a telemedicine-only specialty practice focused on perimenopause, menopause, and sexual medicine. I don't offer in-person visits; all care is delivered virtually.

  • When indicated, I may prescribe bioidentical (body-similar) estrogen, progesterone, and FDA-approved formulations of testosterone. You always have options, and I'll walk you through all of them so you can make the choice that feels right for you.

  • Absolutely! Your care doesn't stop at the appointment. As a GynJess patient, the secure patient portal keeps us connected for questions, clarifications, and small tweaks to your treatment plan. I'm just a message away.

  • No. GynJess is a cash-pay (direct payment) practice, which allows me to focus entirely on your care.

Payment is simple: a credit or debit card is required to book your appointment, but you won't be charged until after your visit concludes.

If you'd like to seek reimbursement through your insurance, I can provide a Superbill upon request. You're welcome to submit it to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement, though coverage is not guaranteed.

  • I designed this model to look toward the future and evolve with a changing healthcare landscape. By operating as a streamlined, virtual practice, I can increase access to care and dedicate more time to your specific needs.

  • If you haven't yet established care specifically with GynJess, you are considered a new patient. Please book a New Patient Visit so we can formally begin our partnership in your healthcare journey.

  • Yes. I currently serve patients located in Oregon. Due to medical licensing laws and regulations, you must be physically in Oregon at the time of your appointment.

  • While every patient is unique, 2 to 3 visits are common to dial in your regimen, followed by an annual review for medication renewal and maintenance. Ultimately, you get to decide the pace. I'm here to support you.

  • GynJess acts as a specialist consultant for perimenopause, menopause, and sexual health. I recommend you maintain care with a general gynecologist or primary care provider for your physical exams and routine screenings.

  • Yes. You'll receive intake forms prior to your visit. These are required by law, so please complete them before we meet.

  • I require 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or miss your appointment, a $50 cancellation fee may be charged to the card on file. I understand that life happens and emergencies arise, so please don't hesitate to reach out and we can work through it together.

To cancel more than 24 hours in advance, log into the patient portal and select "cancel." If you need to cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, the system will prompt you to call. In that case, please send a direct message through the patient portal‍ (preferred) or leave a voicemail at (541) 250-0109.
